4 NBA Finals contenders nearing the end of their championship window

NBA contender #4: Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks have Giannis Antetokounmpo, who might as well be the best player in the world, so they should never be underestimated. It is a fact, however, that his two co-stars, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday, are aging. To win, the Bucks need everyone healthy, but relying on that is a risk. They already lost the playoffs last season due to Middleton’s injury and with it their chances to repeat.
Altogether, the Bucks have seven players aged 30 or older on their roster, including a third of their starters besides Middleton and Holiday. Brook Lopez is already 35 and coming off an injury, which does not paint a very promising picture of how well or how much he will be able to play.
Pretty much the same issues apply to rotation players Wesley Mathews and Serge Ibaka, who are also both aging and declining. To top that off, the only notable off-season addition they made was that of Joe Ingles as their backup ballhandler. Ingles is also already 35 and coming off a torn ACL. Most other players on the team are between 27 and 29, coming up on 30, including Antetokounmpo, but he has just entered his prime and will still be in it for quite a while.
This is a team that knows how to win a championship and has already proven that they can. The Milwaukee Bucks still have some time left to win another title, but with their aging core, their championship window will be drawing to a close after a couple more seasons.
