We saw several NBA superstars request trades this offseason— some were honored, some were not. Utah’s tandem of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert was traded to Cleveland and Minnesota, respectively. Dejounte Murray got shipped to Atlanta to team up with Trae Young after acknowledging the deep rebuild set to take place in San Antonio. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were reportedly trying to find ways to maneuver trades out of Brooklyn but ultimately decided to stick it out and compete for a title this upcoming season.
