NBA Superstar #1: Michael Jordan

I mean, who else wouldn’t want to see Michael Jordan eviscerate every NBA star in his path to show he’s the greatest player ever to touch a basketball? The man won ten scoring titles in his career! He was also named Defensive Player of the Year in 1988, has five MVPs, is a six-time champion and Finals MVP, and was simply the face of the NBA in the 1990s.

Jordan helped individualize the NBA superstar, from being on many national commercials to his famous, iconic sneaker brand “Jordan” that’s still a billion-dollar business even 20 years after his retirement!

The man simply changed the game of basketball and inspired generations of players to play the game. If Jordan were to play today with no hand-checking, jersey grabbing, and so forth, who knows how many titles he would have to his name with a competent team around him?

Imagine Jordan battling Kevin Durant for scoring titles every season, or LeBron James for who’s the best in the league, or even seeing him try to guard Stephen Curry. It would make for a ratings bonanza and draw everyone to see a spectacle. He would simply dominate any era, past or future.
