3. Fully healthy, the Los Angeles Clippers are a lock for the NBA Playoffs.

The Clippers were in the lottery for a reason, and yes, the odds favor them to be a strong contender. But they were in the lottery, and while injuries hurt them last year, they didn’t make it to the postseason either. Now, their squad is back and running, which should serve as a concern for the rest of their competition.

Ultimately, it comes down to health and how well Kawhi Leonard and Paul George play together. Together, they form a strong duo like LeBron and AD. Still, the Clippers have other players on their roster who can contribute, including Reggie Jackson, Ivica Zubac, and recently acquired John Wall. People forget this team was in the Western Conference Finals a couple of years ago before bowing out to Phoenix. There is talent on this roster — it just has to be on the court.

There should be no excuse for Tyronn Lue to get the best out of this team and make them a postseason contender in the West. If nothing else, they should be motivated enough to go out and show they are the better team in LA.

Time will tell if this team is really up to the challenge, but at least on paper, they have a roster capable of playing into the postseason and going far.
