2. Jalen Suggs has already proven himself as an elite dual-sport athlete.

Orlando Magic sophomore Jalen Suggs is somewhat of an obvious choice in this context since he was a football star in high school. He was ranked as the second-best football player in Minnesota and the fifteenth-best dual-threat quarterback in the country. Suggs led his team to a championship, was named both Mr. Football and Mr. Basketball in his senior year of high school, and received several scholarship offers for both sports.

According to his old football coach Chris Goodwin, his speed and elusiveness were what made Suggs such a great football player. No one could catch him on the football field. Besides that, he also was not afraid of physicality and actually played organized football against sixth graders while he was in second grade.

Eventually, Suggs chose basketball as his future career even though he also could have had a bright future in the NFL. His football skills are still being put to good use on the basketball court, though. The Orlando Magic guard uses his quarterback vision and good eye to find open teammates and deliver passes. He also never shies away from physicality and surely could have translated these skills to the NFL.
