NBA Trades: 5 suitors for John Collins and Atlanta Hawks: Charlotte Hornets

A stealth suitor for John Collins this summer could be the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets have had more drama than actions thus far into the offseason with restricted free agent Miles Bridges’ disappointing incident topping the headlines.

Charlotte not only needs to bolster the roster to become a playoff team moving forward, but they also need to adjust their defining culture and make an aggressive move that can make fans excited for the present and future. Pursuing an impact player with still much room for growth like John Collins would be a magnificent addition alongside rising star LaMelo Ball.

In regard to a potential offer, the Hornets could make Terry Rozier, Kelly Oubre Jr., and PJ Washington available, along with draft picks. Atlanta could be intrigued by a package surrounding Rozier or both Oubre and Washington.

The Charlotte Hornets have the assets to acquire John Collins from the Atlanta Hawks. Given the desperate need for improvement and a positive spark toward the culture and system, Collins would be an ideal target for the Hornets.
