NBA Free Agency: 5 best landing spots for TJ Warren: Miami Heat

Last season, Victor Oladipo signed with the Heat on a one-year prove-it deal similar to the one Warren could end up signing. Why not try to follow in his former teammate’s footsteps?

Miami lost PJ Tucker to the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency, so they could use some forward depth. Nabbing Warren on a team-friendly deal would benefit both parties.

Even if Warren wouldn’t be a Day 1 starter for the Heat, he’s certainly talented enough to work his way into the starting lineup. This player-team combination makes a ton of sense all around.

NBA Free Agency: 5 best landing spots for TJ Warren: Toronto Raptors

Continuing with the trend of Eastern Conference playoff teams, Warren is the type of player who would fit right in with the Raptors. They love long, versatile wings, and that’s exactly what Warren is.

Toronto already signed Otto Porter to a deal, so grabbing Warren would see them double-down on that same archetype of player, giving Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes plenty of support.

Plus, if the Raptors decide that they want in on the Kevin Durant sweepstakes, having Warren on board would ensure that they still have plenty of depth at the position if they do decide to go all-in on a trade.
