NBA Trades: 3 Myles Turner trades for Indiana Pacers: Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors have reportedly been in the market for an upgrade at center for more than a year now, and Myles Turner could finally be the answer. Toronto will have other options to pursue, but a swap deal involving Turner and OG Anunoby would make sense.

Indiana would value Anunoby, a 24-year-old wing that’s efficient on both ends of the floor with still room for growth. The former Indiana University star would be the type of player that could accelerate the Pacers’ rebuild upon further two-way development.

Multiple reports have stated that OG Anunoby has become unhappy with his role in Toronto, likely due to the rising emergence of forward Scottie Barnes, so it would be understandable if the Raptors found him a new home in exchange for another essential impact player that fills a position of need. Toronto could also attempt to obtain Turner without including Anunoby by offering a trade package centered around center Khem Birch, salary filler, and two first-round picks.

Adding Myles Turner to the strong core of Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Gary Trent Jr., and Barnes would form a solid starting lineup that could make some noise in the East as the Toronto Raptors aim to contend for another NBA title. Keep an eye on the Raptors as an intriguing landing spot for Turner’s services.
