5 roster moves the Toronto Raptors need to make this offseason: 5. Trade OG Anunoby

OG Anunoby is another tremendous example of the Raptors’ development. He has been with the franchise for the last five years and has increased his scoring average in every one of those seasons. He has gone from 5.9 points per game in his rookie season to 17.2 points per game last season.

Unfortunately for the Raptors, Anunoby has expressed a level of displeasure with the franchise. If he is unhappy enough to need to be traded then this is the best time for the Raptors. Unhappy players have a negative impact on chemistry and team culture.

The biggest issue for the Raptors if they were to try and trade Anunoby is he has not made it to 50 games in the last two seasons. Given he just finished the first season of his four-year, $72 million deal, teams may be wary of trading for the small forward.

However, it is a true risk versus reward scenario for Anunoby. He is a career 37.2 percent 3-point shooter, which makes him a danger as a three-level scorer. On top of that, Anunoby is a tremendous defender who can read the play well. The Raptors should be able to get a decent return for the fifth-year man.
