5 roster moves the Denver Nuggets need to make this offseason: 2. Re-sign Facundo Campazzo

Apart from having one of the most fun names in the NBA, Facundo Campazzo also knows how to play the game. After coming into the league at the age of 29, Campazzo showed why the Nuggets value him so highly.

Aside from taking care of the ball really well, averaging only 1.1 turnovers in 20.1 minutes per game, Campazzo is a fierce competitor. He does not take a backward step in any situation, always doing his best to help his team win.

With Murray coming back next season, Campazzo will see his role shrink. This will mean that the Nuggets can unleash him in shorter bursts and he will be even more determined to have an impact on the game.

The other benefit is that he has been part of the Nuggets system for two years and understands his role on the team. With Murray and Jokic being the main distributors on offense, Campazzo will be able to focus on defense and be even more of a pest in the Nuggets’ already solid defense.

This will mean that the Nuggets will be able to offer him a smaller deal, and given that they took the chance on Campazzo, he is likely to sign out of loyalty.
