Offseason roster moves the Cleveland Cavaliers need to make: 2. Sign Delon Wright

Despite saying during his exit interview that he would like to stay with the Atlanta Hawks, Delon Wright is going to market. He had such a good season for the Hawks, especially defensively, and his services are going to be in high demand.

Wright is a player who is willing to sacrifice his game for the good of the team. His ability to fit into what is required makes him a tremendous addition anywhere in the league. The Cavaliers could use his services on both ends of the court.

Defensively, Wright showed how locked in he was by helping make the Hawks’ second unit one of the best last season, despite not averaging huge numbers himself. His numbers the previous season on the offensive end for the Sacramento Kings showed what he can do at that end of the floor.

The Cavaliers were still a difficult team to beat without Rubio on the floor thanks to the defense and playmaking. This is where Wright will be able to emulate Rubio’s production. With him running the bench unit, the Cavaliers have a much better chance of making the playoffs next season.
