NBA Trades: 3 Zach LaVine sign-and-trades to save the Chicago Bulls: Dallas Mavericks

Mavericks receive: Zach LaVine

Bulls receive: Jalen Brunson, Reggie Bullock, 2024 1st-Roud Pick (Top-20 Protected)

This is definitely an intriguing trade for both sides, as it would give each side an extra oomph. The Bulls would be getting some extra depth while the Mavs would get a second star to pair alongside Luka Doncic.

For the Bulls, Brunson would be a solid starting guard to pair alongside Lonzo Ball. He’s already shown that he’s fully capable of playing off-the-ball, allowing Ball to be the team’s primary ball-handler.

In addition, Brunson showed a ton of potential this postseason. He looks primed to take a massive leap, and if he can do that in Chicago, then this deal could end up benefitting the Bulls a ton.

Meanwhile, Bullock would give Chicago some nice depth at the wing position. He’s a streaky shooter, but what he brings on the defensive end would give the Bulls a nice boost.

On the flip side, the Mavs would be pairing Doncic with a score-first guard who would be able to take a ton of pressure off the young superstar. LaVine, a two-time All-Star, has proven to be a solid first or second scoring option and could thrive alongside Doncic.

Not only is he an extremely efficient shooter, but he’s fully capable of creating his own shots. Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie have shown the ability to thrive as secondary ball-handlers next to Doncic, and LaVine could take things to the next level.
