NBA Trades: 3 Zach LaVine sign-and-trades to save the Chicago Bulls: Denver Nuggets

Nuggets receive: Zach LaVine

Bulls receive: Will Barton, Monte Morris, 2024 1st-Round Pick

Talk about a league-altering move. If this deal went through, it might make the Denver Nuggets the favorites to win the NBA championship next season.

In this trade, the Bulls would be getting two quality rotation players and a future first. It’s not quite as good as the potential Hawks trade, but it would still be a solid return.

Barton could be inserted into the starting lineup alongside DeMar DeRozan. He’s not elite on either side of the ball, but he’s a defensive improvement over LaVine and can score well enough to make up for some of the offense, too.

Morris would be a steal for the Bulls. He would be a major upgrade at their backup point guard spot, as Ayo Dosunmu and Alex Caruso can play up a position, and Coby White could be thrown in another deal for more help.

At the very least, this deal would make it easier for the Bulls to trade White away. That way, they could build a deeper, more defensive-minded team.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets would be staking up with offensive weapons around Nikola Jokic. With LaVine on the team and Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. returning, their offense would be terrifying.
