Offseason roster moves the Washington Wizards need to make: 5. Convince Bradley Beal to opt-in

Since John Wall left, Bradley Beal has been the leader on offense for the Wizards. Last season, he performed incredibly well with Westbrook, but the Wizards obviously saw a better future with the core of the Lakers they received in the Westbrook deal.

Well, with the addition of Porzingis, the Wizards have added another threat from the perimeter. This is going to free up the room inside the arc for Beal to create for himself and others. This is going to be huge for the Wizards, making them much more dangerous on offense.

Beal is going to be looking to make the most money that he can in the next deal that he signs. The biggest problem for Beal and the Wizards is that he only played 40 games last season. He also only played a total of 117 in the two seasons prior. That is only 157 in the past three seasons.

However, if Beal meshes with the rest of the team, it could propel them up the standings, potentially into a decent playoff seed. If not, then the Wizards can try and get something for Beal at the trade deadline, as it would be the final season of his deal.
