Offseason roster moves the Sacramento Kings need to make: 3. Move on from Jeremy Lamb

After coming over from the Pacers, Jeremy Lamb proceeded to play 17 games for the Kings. During this time, he averaged 7.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 18.9 minutes per game, which is solid for a bench player.

He was not very efficient, going at 40.3 percent from the floor and 30.2 percent from deep. However, he was good from the line, going 84.6 percent. Lamb made it to the line 1.5 times a game, which was the lowest since his fourth season in the league, his first with the Charlotte Hornets.

Lamb is just about to turn 30, which is at the wrong end of his career for the Kings. He has had issues staying on the court over the past three years. Lamb played his most games over that period this season, and that was only 56. He played 36 last season and 46 the season before.

The Kings need players who are going to stay on the floor in order to help them end the playoff drought. A few seasons ago, Lamb would have been a really good fit for the Kings, but now that he is about to enter his thirties, the Kings cannot rely on his body to help them improve.
