Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks just sent the Utah Jazz packing in the NBA Playoffs. It took them six games, but considering Doncic was out for three of those, it definitely wasn’t the result Utah was looking for.

Under the current regime, the Jazz have yet to make it past the second round of the playoffs. And with all the drama surrounding the team this year, it’s highly likely that we see a different group in Utah next season.

The biggest rumors have been surrounding Utah’s two stars, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, as well as head coach Quin Snyder, who has been tied to the open Los Angeles Lakers coaching job.

Mitchell was involved in a ton of rumors this season. It was everything from him wanting to play in a bigger market to him not believing in his fit alongside Gobert.

The two All-Stars have a long history of conflict dating back to right before the NBA season got delayed in 2020 due to COVID. Mitchell was rightfully unhappy with Gobert’s actions ahead of the pandemic, and everything seemingly spiraled from there.

Now, the Jazz are left with some tough decisions to make this summer. With Mitchell still being only 25 years old, it’s unlikely that they willingly trade him away. He would have to request a trade for them to do that.

That leaves Gobert. If the Jazz want to seriously mix things up, trading him away seems like the first option, whether or not you believe it would actually help them or not.

But that leaves one very important question – where does Gobert end up next season? What’s up next for the three-time Defensive Player of the Year?
