The Orlando Magic just wrapped up the first full season of their rebuild. They blew up their team during the 2020-21 season when they sent Evan Fournier, Nikola Vucevic, and Aaron Gordon out at the trade deadline. This season has been one of pain, but they are working hard to develop their younger players.

The Magic have also been dealing with long-term injuries to key pieces. Markelle Fultz missed much of the season, Jalen Suggs was out for just under half the season, and Jonathan Isaac has missed the entire season. This team is very different when those three players are in the lineup.

Orlando will likely add another good young piece this summer, as they have a top pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. As this team develops together, they are going to be good in a few years. Moves that they make this offseason will have a big influence on this.

Offseason roster moves the Orlando Magic need to make No. 1) Draft well

The Magic are very well served at the point guard position with Cole Anthony, Fultz, and Suggs all listed at the position. Some of these players can also play the off-guard position as well. They have RJ Hampton, too, who is a promising young player who can share the position with Terrence Ross moving forward.

They also have plenty of quality big men with Franz Wagner, Chuma Okeke, Moritz Wagner, Wendell Carter, and Isaac. They need to select the best forward available who can play the wing position which will round out the starting unit for years to come.
