NCAA March Madness is finally here! The first set of games was played on Thursday night, and there were plenty of storylines to talk about.

Kentucky got upset by St. Peters, Iowa got upset by Richmond, and UCONN got upset by New Mexico St. Needless to say, there were a ton of top teams that ended up falling on just day one alone.

Meanwhile, the NBA only had one game air on Thursday, most likely because they knew everyone’s eyes were going to be glued to their TVs, watching a constant stream of college basketball action all day long.

But that doesn’t mean there was nothing to watch for NBA fans on Thursday. Just because there was only a single NBA game doesn’t mean NBA fans who don’t care about college ball shouldn’t be paying attention.

Instead, keep an eye out on the players. For most people, this is the first time they actually pay attention to college ball. And in turn, it’s their first glance at the next class of NBA players.

March Madness is the time for all those relatively unknown NBA prospects to make a name for themselves. The underrated freshman, surprise sophomores, and gritty upperclassmen will finally have their time to shine.

NBA scouts will undoubtedly be watching closely, as the tournament is the perfect chance for prospects to raise their draft stock. Just look at the Donte DiVincenzo’s and Buddy Hield’s of the world.

So, after just one day of March Madness, what players have raised their NBA Draft stock already? Who should you have your eyes on as the offseason approaches?
