3 prospects who can boost NBA Draft stock during March Madness – Trevor Keels
Trevor Keels is in an interesting spot. He’s currently projected as either an early second-round pick or a late first-round pick and is on a Duke team loaded with other prospects. It’s a good bet that at least one of those names improves their stock during the tournament, and my money is on Keels.
He’s a defensive-minded guard, who could steal the spotlight with his ability to lock down perimeter playmakers. A well-timed steal and a finish on the other end in crunch time could swing games and land him in the headlines/highlights.
While he’s not a star on the offensive end yet, he can light up the scoreboard on occasion. He scored at least 25 points in three games of his 2021-22 freshman season. He more so impacts the game on the offensive end with his sharp playmaking.
Thanks to him and the rest of their stacked roster, Duke is once again primed for a deep run in the tournament. And Keels has the ability to catapult up the draft boards with his individual performance.
