Last night, Chicago Bulls guard made his long-awaited return to the court. He had missed 22 games prior to that dating all the way back to January 23.

In his return, Caruso notched 11 points, four assists, and four steals – pretty much the most Caruso statline you could possibly think of. He helped the Bulls to a 101-91 win

Caruso received a warm welcome back from both his teammates and the good people of United Center. However, it was something Caruso talked about before the game that caught most people’s eyes.

Alex Caruso reveals he never heard from Grayson Allen

Everyone knows what happened to Caruso that caused him to miss so much time. In a January 23 game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Caruso was shoved from behind by Grayson Allen while going up for a layup.

The incident resulted in Allen getting ejected from the game and suspended for another. Meanwhile, Caruso broke his wrist and missed nearly seven weeks of action.

While the Bucks defended Allen on Twitter, most people came to the common agreement that there was some sort of malic behind Allen’s actions. Especially considering his previous track record of dirty plays.

Well, in a pregame press conference ahead of Caruso’s return, he was asked about whether or not he’s still upset about the situation. Caruso said that he has “no anger,” but that the time he missed was certainly frustrating.

That’s when Caruso revealed something truly interesting. He said that throughout his entire recovery period, he never heard from Allen.

Really?

Even if the incident was a complete accident, wouldn’t it just be nice to reach out and apologize for injuring a fellow NBA player? Even just a “hey, sorry about that” would suffice.

But nope. Nothing. At least Caruso is back on the court now, though.
