The NBA season is in full swing, but on this particular Sunday, no one really cares about basketball – it’s all about the NFL and Super Bowl Sunday.

As the Cincinnati Bengals get set to take on the Los Angeles Rams, everyone’s talking about the matchup of Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford.

From an outside perspective, no one seems to really care who wins. Some may be rooting for the Bengals or the Rams but seeing either quarterback get a ring would be awesome.

Well, a pair of Phoenix Suns players definitely do care who wins the Super Bowl on Sunday. Because there’s a lot on the line, and it all has to do with lemonade.

Cameron Johnson and Mikal Bridges made a bet on the big game. Johnson is a Bengals fan and Bridges is a Rams fan, so it only made sense to make up a wager. (H/t ArizonaSports.com)

Well, the two decided that the loser would have to wear the other team’s jersey to the game against the LA Clippers on Tuesday, as well as for every Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs this season.

But that wasn’t enough.

Bridges joked afterward that the loser should have to start a lemonade stand in the offseason… and things spiraled from that point on.

"“Maybe loser has to make a little lemonade stand in the offseason. That’s how confident I am.”"

Malik Andrews of ESPN then chimed in, saying that the stand should have to be in the opposite players’ city – I.E. Cincinnati or Los Angeles. Johnson came up with a quick response to that idea.

"“You said I am going to be selling lemonade? Bro, enjoy that lemonade, fresh-squeezed. I have a lemon tree in the backyard, you need to get some of those.”"

Head coach Monty Williams and All-Star Devin Booker both commented on the ordeal as well. Williams’ response was absolutely hilarious.

"“I have heard about a lemonade stand. I am hopeful to find the location because I’m going to bring 1,000 pennies. My lemonade better be to my liking or am I going to have people making it over and over again until I like it.”"

As far as Booker, he said he wants to go to the Super Bowl with his two teammates. Plus, he added that Johnson might have the edge in regard to the lemonade stand location.

"“I think it will be easier to get Cam Johnson to L.A. than Mikal to Cincinnati.”"

So it seems as though that bet might be on. If you’re from Cincy or LA, keep an eye out this offseason for a really tall guy in a Bengals or Rams jersey selling lemonade on the side of the road, and a lot of other tall guys laughing at him with their phones out.
