NBA Trades: 3 realistic Domantas Sabonis trades for the Pacers: Sacramento Kings

Kings receive: Domantas Sabonis

Pacers receive: Davion Mitchell, Marvin Bagley III, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2024 First-Round Pick

This trade may seem a bit weird, but it could actually help out both sides a decent amount. The Sacramento Kings would improve a lot, while the Indiana Pacers would further commit to their rebuild.

The Kings have missed the playoffs for 15 straight years. Sactown is desperately trying to end that drought, and adding Domantas Sabonis to the mix would undoubtedly help.

The trio of Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox, and Tyrese Haliburton would be one of the most exciting young trios in the league. They’re also all super young, which is great for the Kings’ future.

Sabonis could bump Harrison Barnes out of the starting lineup, allowing the Kings to look for a trade for him, too. Adding a multi-time All-Star to the team would be a huge win.

Meanwhile, the Pacers would get a promising young point guard in Davion Mitchell. His defensive presence is nothing short of insane, and he would be a nice piece for them to rebuild with.

Mitchell and Duarte would be a nice dynamic duo, although both are on the older side for rookies. Regardless, they’d make a nice pairing on both sides of the floor.

They would also get the chance to look at Marvin Bagley III. His time in Sacramento obviously hasn’t worked out, but a change of scenery could do wonders for the young forward.

Those two unprotected first-round picks are the best part of this trade, though, especially the one this season. That being said, this trade helps out both teams.
