Not too long ago, Hoops Habit put out an article breaking down some potential NBA trades involving Indiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis.

Since then, a lot has happened. Caris LeVert got traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Pacers have only gotten worse, and Adrian Wojnarowski hinted that Sabonis and Myles Turner could get dealt soon.

With the LeVert trade, we got somewhat of an idea about what direction the Pacers are going in. They want to hit the reset button in a big way and picks mean a lot to them.

Keeping that in mind, what are some realistic NBA trades that could see Sabonis shipped off by the deadline? What teams should be in the hunt for the big man?

NBA Trades: 3 realistic Domantas Sabonis trades for the Pacers: Minnesota Timberwolves

Timberwolves receive: Domantas Sabonis

Pacers receive: Malik Beasley, Josh Okogie, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2024 First-Round Pick, 2026 First-Round Pick

This would definitely be a dangerous trade for the Minnesota Timberwolves, but it also has a ton of upside. And for the Indiana Pacers, it’s all about the picks.

Adding another All-Star to the mix in Minnesota could help elevate them from a bottom-tier playoff team to a team that could end up being in the mix come playoff time.

For the Pacers, Malik Beasley is an alright player to take a chance on, as is Josh Okogie, who’s a solid young defender. But the picks are the real draw for them, as three unprotected firsts would be a huge addition.

Minnesota should only make this trade if they believe in their current core, and the Pacers should only do it if they value picks over everything… which they might.
