NBA Trades: 3 potential James Harden for Ben Simmons trade packages
NBA Trades: 3 potential Simmons-Harden trade packages – Curry/Springer
Another potential trade package involving Ben Simmons and James Harden would see the Brooklyn Nets acquire a more realistic return from the Philadelphia 76ers.
Similar to the first proposal, Seth Curry would be included in the Simmons package, but rookie Jaden Springer and a future second-round pick would be attached rather than Matisse Thybulle.
Springer, the 28th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, is a young combo guard out of Tennessee that could intrigue the Nets as another prospect.
Unlike Thybulle and Tyrese Maxey, Philly would most certainly be willing to add Jaden Springer in a package with Simmons and Curry if it meant landing Harden. On the other side, this package would still benefit Brooklyn in both the short-term and long-term.
The framework of this deal could easily become a realistic discussion that ends up coming to fruition due to the value, interests, and timely objectives of both organizations.
As the trade deadline inches closer, don’t be surprised if this potential deal emerges as the blockbuster trade that ultimately sends Ben Simmons to Brooklyn and James Harden to Philadelphia.
