On Thursday night, the 2022 NBA All-Star Teams were announced. The starters were revealed a while ago, but the reserves were just announced.

Andrew Wiggins made headlines as the surprise within the starters, but the reserves are always more controversial. There are so many players who might be deserving, and ultimately, some will get snubbed.

But who were the biggest snubs? Which players that were left off the team deserved to be on it the most?

Whenever you say a player was snubbed, you have to say what player would be kicked out. Those are the rules. (For the sake of saving time, the player who was widely regarded as the most questionable choice was Khris Middleton.)

It’s important to note that this is all a matter of opinion. One person could believe one thing and another could believe something completely different.

An honorable mention goes to Dejounte Murray, but the guards in the Western Conference were just too talented this year.

With that being said, let’s take a look.

The top 5 snubs from the 2022 NBA All-Star Teams: 5. Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics haven’t been great this year, but Jaylen Brown has been really solid. And alongside Jayson Tatum, he’s been leading them on a surge lately.

Brown is averaging 24.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from behind the three-point line.

Boston is now three games above .500 and isn’t actually that far behind some of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. It’s understandable that a nine seed doesn’t have two All-Stars, though.

There’s no doubt that Brown is putting up All-Star numbers, so the fans who are upset aren’t totally in the wrong. But in terms of snubs, he’s definitely toward the bottom of the list.
