The Los Angeles Lakers have been everywhere in the national media this season. Unfortunately, it’s not because of how good they’ve been. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Instead, the Lakers find themselves talked about on a daily basis because of how disappointing they’ve been. With the NBA trade deadline less than two weeks away, they are expected to be very involved in some NBA trades.

While Los Angeles would probably like to trade Russell Westbrook, the one name that is almost sure to be moved ahead of the deadline is youngster Talen Horton-Tucker.

He’s got the most trade value amongst movable pieces on the team, even if it’s gotten worse so far this year. Here are three NBA trades that would ship Horton-Tucker off to another team.

NBA Trades: 3 Talen Horton-Tucker trades to help the Lakers – Toronto Raptors

Raptors receive: Talen Horton-Tucker, Kendrick Nunn, DeAndre Jordan

Lakers receive: Goran Dragic, Svi Mykhailiuk

Is this a total risk? Absolutely. Could it pay dividends for the Los Angeles Lakers? 100 percent. It all depends on where Goran Dragic is from a basketball perspective.

Just last season he was one of the best backup point guards in the NBA. Although he hasn’t played much this year, if he can play at that level in LA, he would be a huge help off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors would get to take a free chance on another long, athletic wing player in Talen Horton-Tucker. Plus, they would gain another solid guard in Kendrick Nunn.

Obviously, this isn’t what the Lakers envisioned when they sought out the trade Horton-Tucker. However, if it comes to it and Dragic is ready to play, this trade could end up helping their bench a lot.
