The Milwaukee Bucks need more from Rodney Hood: Tight Playoff Race

The Milwaukee Bucks are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. However, they only have one less win than the current first-place team, the Miami Heat. Things could change quickly in the standings; Milwaukee still has a shot at the number one seed if that’s something they choose to pursue.

Every team in the league has been hit by the injury bug this season. In addition to that, health-and-safety protocols have caused every franchise to make adjustments on the fly. The Bucks are no different.

Rodney Hood is an experienced player who is capable of making an adjustment on both ends of the court. Most teams would love to have a player of his caliber to help them prepare for the intensity of the playoffs after the upcoming All-Star break. If Hood is determined to be a contributor, it would make an already contending Bucks team that much more dangerous.

As evidenced by their Wednesday night blowout loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Milwaukee Bucks are still a work in progress. While it would not be shocking to see them advance to the NBA Finals this season, it certainly is not a foregone conclusion.

There are plenty of veteran-led challengers in the East who love to knock off last year’s champion. The Milwaukee Bucks have a chance to do something special and Rodney Hood has a chance to be a major part of it. The only question that remains is, how bad does he want it?

The basketball world will have to wait and see.

Next. The Bucks have nothing to worry about despite loss to Cavaliers. dark
