It’s safe to say that a lot of people aren’t a big fan of Grayson Allen right now.

On Friday night, the Chicago Bulls took on the Milwaukee Bucks. With 5:45 left in the third quarter, Alex Caruso went up for a layup. Enter Allen.

Grayson Allen injures Alex Caruso, picks up flagrant two foul, gets ejected

Allen went up for the contest, which initially looked fine. But then he continued to swing his arms around, flinging Caruso to the ground mid-air.

Caruso would endure a scary fall to the ground and wouldn’t get up for a little while. Allen got a flagrant two and was ejected, Caruso eventually got back up, and everything was alright… or so we thought.

It was announced today that Caruso suffered a fractured right wrist and will need surgery to repair it. The injury and subsequent surgery are expected to sideline Caruso for 6-to-8 weeks.

Alex Caruso and Billy Donovan react to Grayson Allen’s dirty play

After the game, both Caruso and Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan ripped into Allen. They both saw it as a dirty play, and Caruso even used some choice words to describe the incident.

They weren’t the only ones to express their anger towards Allen, either. NBA Twitter exploded with rage after the incident, and even more so after Caruso’s injury was announced.

Everyone from social media stars, to Bulls fans, to general NBA fans, to NBA media, to the actual account for NBC Sports Chicago had something to say about Allen.

As you can see, Twitter was nothing but a slew of Allen hate after the incident. But despite this, the official Bucks Twitter account put out a very interesting tweet the very next day.

The Milwaukee Bucks tweeted out a picture of Grayson Allen on NBA Twitter and the Chicago Bulls respond

They tweeted an image of Grayson Allen easting a donut to help promote their upcoming game against the Sacramento Kings. Kind of a weird move the day after he injures a player.

The official Chicago Bulls Twitter account commented on it, too, so it’s safe to say there’s no love lost between the two teams (or at least their social media managers).

Milwaukee’s tweet has since been deleted, but Chicago’s reply remains…

Allen was even seen smiling while walking back to the tunnel after the play occurred. It was likely because he didn’t feel he deserved to be ejected, but it was a bad look nonetheless.

Grayson Allen has been a dirty player for his entire career

This isn’t the first time Grayson Allen has been caught being a dirty player, either. It’s happened time and time again throughout his career.

As of now, the NBA has not punished Allen other than the flagrant two foul and subsequent ejection, and it’s unclear whether they will or not.

All that is known is that Grayson Allen won’t be on the league’s top-selling jerseys list anytime soon.

Get well soon, Alex Caruso.
