2022 NBA Mock Draft 1.0: First look at entire first round

2022 NBA Mock Draft: Caleb Houstan, Michigan
Defense has to be the priority for the Atlanta Hawks at this point, followed by locker room culture. Caleb Houstan brings both of those to the table and adds potential as a knockdown shooter. The wing position has been a little clogged for Atlanta this season, but after making possible consolidation moves, Houstan would be a nice piece off the bench for them.
2022 NBA Mock Draft: JD Davidson, Alabama
For the Dallas Mavericks, Jalen Brunson’s looming free agency is a red flag for their future. With no other real point guards on the roster (despite the positional designation for Luka Doncic), adding depth at the position would be smart.
JD Davidson is raw, but an explosive athlete. He will show out at the combine and as he continues to develop, he will fit the team well. If the Mavericks can be patient this could turn out very well.
2022 NBA Mock Draft: Marjon Beauchamp, G-League Ignite
The Cleveland Cavaliers are starting to build something special, so adding more multi-positional players who can help flesh out their roster makes sense. Marjon Beauchamp continues to impress on the G-League Ignite, showing flashes on both ends of the court. He is a solid ball-handler with a developing shot. If he can continue to improve, he would thrive on this Cavs roster.
