4 Jerami Grant trades based on recent NBA rumors: Los Angeles Lakers

Still in the mix, the Los Angeles Lakers have to feel good about no longer being in the cellar of Jerami Grant trade options. That being said, the package has not changed and does not look much better for Detroit.

Talen Horton-Tucker is still the only tradeable asset on the roster and would have to be involved. He has not taken the steps that Lakers Twitter would lead you to believe that he has, but he is an intriguing wing prospect that can drive to the basket in impressive fashion. Kendrick Nunn has yet to play this season but would step in whenever he is available with a chance to be the best shooter on the roster.

Ultimately, the best thing that the Lakers can provide is future draft picks. As dominant as LeBron James has looked this season, the end has to be coming sometime in the next couple of years.

Russell Westbrook falls into the same category. Anthony Davis has been picked as the heir apparent, but with his inconsistent health, Lakers’ draft picks could end up being a prime asset in the future.

The reason this is lower than the other two remaining teams is the volatility that comes with draft picks multiple years in the future. There is no telling how quickly the Lakers will be able to restructure their roster, but Los Angeles has a way of selling itself.
