5 NBA 2K22 player overalls that do not make any sense: Pascal Siakam – 84 OVR

It is starting to seem as if the creators of 2K just dislike the Raptors at this point.

After a bit of a down year last season that was mostly due to injuries, Pascal Siakam has been back to looking like his old self. While his base box score stats may not show it, Siakam has truly improved since last season.

In 24 games played this season, Siakam has been averaging 20.6 PPG, 8.4 RPG, 4.5 APG, on 47.7 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from three, all while being an elite defensive player.

Siakam was forced to miss the first 10 games of the season due to a shoulder injury he suffered the previous season. Ever since he made his return, however, he has been playing at an All-Star-caliber level, especially as of late.

In Siakam’s last 8 games played, he has been averaging 24.4 PPG, 9.8 RPG, 5.9 APG, 1.5 SPG, and 0.8 BPG, all while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range. He is looking to be back to his All-Star form.

However, for some reason, Siakam is somehow only rated at an 84 overall. When you consider some of the players who are either a higher overall or share the same overall as Siakam, you can begin to see why this doesn’t make sense.

  • Julius Randle: 84 OVR
  • Kristaps Porzingis: 85 OVR
  • Tobias Harris: 85 OVR
  • Brandon Ingram: 84 OVR
  • John Collins: 84 OVR

Since Siakam’s return, he has been outplaying all 5 of these players. It is about time that 2K gives the Raptors the respect they deserve and bring their players’ overalls up to where they should be.
