That is how much time will have passed for Klay Thompson when he takes the court on Sunday evening. 941 days since he tore his ACL in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

More than 30 months. The Golden State Warriors have played two entire seasons, plus 38 games of a third, without one of their franchise pillars.

That will reportedly change this weekend, as Thompson returns for a Warriors team that is just where he left it – a title contender built on the greatest shooter of all time and one of the greatest defenders of all time.

He will play a small role as he works back from the Achilles tear he suffered while working back from the ACL tear. He will start but play limited minutes. Yet he will be back all the same.
