NBA Trades: 2 blockbuster Jaylen Brown trades to fix the Celtics – Sacramento Kings

Kings receive: Jaylen Brown, Dennis Schroder, Juancho Hernangomez, Bruno Fernando, 2023 Second-Round Pick

Celtics receive: De’Aaron Fox, Harrison Barnes

Talk about a blockbuster trade that would break the NBA. This deal would send Jaylen Brown to the Kings, while the Celtics would essentially re-formulate their roster.

Boston would be getting De’Aaron Fox to be their new franchise point guard. Instead of having two players who have very similar playstyles, they’d add a guy who can run the offense next to Jayson Tatum.

Fox may be having somewhat of a down year, but he still has clear All-Star upside. Putting him next to Tatum would simply be creating a new, redesigned dynamic duo.

As for Harrison Barnes, he’d give the C’s an elite 3&D presence. His great three-point shooting, versatile defense, and veteran presence make him the perfect target for the Celtics.

Sacramento would be committing to Tyrese Haliburton at the point guard and getting him a running mate who has already established himself as an NBA All-Star.

Nabbing Brown would give the Kings a better number one option right now, while also allowing Haliburton to completely take over. The duo fits much better together than their current one.

Losing Barnes in the deal too hurts them a bit, but Brown is such a premier talent in this league already that it’d be worth it. They’d also be adding Dennis Schroder for some extra guard depth.
