The Chicago Bulls version of DeMar DeRozan: 2022 MVP Candidate

Fast forward to present day, and DeMar DeRozan, in a Bulls uniform, is a candidate for the MVP award. Throughout his years in both Toronto and San Antonio, he developed his game to what it is today.

He is one of the top scoring guards in the league, all without relying on a three-point shot. Plus, he has become a stellar playmaker in the half-court, something that has worked wonders for this Bulls team.

At 32 years old, DeMar DeRozan has looked like a true veteran on the floor this season.

He seems unstoppable in the mid-post and he always knows when to make the right play. He’s a professional at fooling defenders with his pump fakes and drawing the foul.

His short corner fadeaway is ridiculous. If he is one-on-one you can almost guarantee a bucket or that he will get a teammate an open shot.

With everything DeMar DeRozan has learned over his career, he has become a one-of-a-kind player in today’s league.

These Bulls have been incredible this year and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. They have a real chance at making a run in the playoffs. You just can’t deny the star power of a big three of DeRozan, Lavine, and Vuc.

If DeMar and the Bulls are able to keep this up and hold onto the number one seed, I can absolutely see him being named league MVP.

Next. No one deserves success more than DeMar DeRozan. dark
