NBA Trades: 3 trades to help the Sacramento Kings – Boston Celtics
Kings receive: Marcus Smart, Al Horford, Aaron Nesmith, Juancho Hernangomez
Celtics receive: Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes
This would be a blockbuster trade, but it could really help out both teams. Both teams are looking to improve and make changes, and this would clearly do both of those things.
Boston would be receiving two quality rotation pieces that would bolster their offense, which has been the primary issue for the C’s this season.
Buddy Hield is an elite three-point shooter. The Celtics have been one of the worst teams from behind the arc this year, and he would obviously help with that problem.
Harrison Barnes would give the C’s a great two-way presence. His solid defense and versatile offensive game would take some of the pressure off of the Jays.
As for Sacramento, the Kings would get a huge influx of defense, which is something they desperately need. They’ve been one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA this year.
Marcus Smart is obviously an All-Defensive First Team type of player and would give the team a huge spark on that end of the floor.
Al Horford would provide them a similar presence. His versatile defense would help them a ton down low, as well as on the perimeter.
Aaron Nesmith would be a nice young asset for them, and Juancho Hernangomez would be in the trade solely for salary-matching purposes.
