Week 11 NBA Rookie Ladder: 2. Franz Wagner, Orlando Magic

15.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals

Shooting splits: .447/.368/.829

The rise seems to be endless for Franz Wagner. He has been on a nearly unstoppable tear and has finally ascended to second place on the rankings. To start last week, he posted a new career-high, dropping 38 points, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block on the Milwaukee Bucks.

He has scored in double figures in 19 straight games. Wagner is the type of player that, if he had been drafted by a winning team, would be limited to timely shots and solid defense. With the open environment provided by the Orlando Magic, Wagner is able to show his full potential right off the bat.

Week 11 NBA Rookie Ladder: 1. Evan Mobley, Cleveland Cavaliers

14.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.8 blocks

Shooting splits: .501/.313/.762

After being out for a few games, Evan Mobley quickly showed that there is a reason he will be in borderline All-Star conversations, let alone the Rookie of the Year award.

Over the last week (right after coming back from health and safety protocols), Mobley is averaging 20.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 63.3 percent from the field.

He is not the only player on the Cleveland Cavaliers that deserves large amounts of credit, but the addition of Mobley is such a noticeable boost on both ends of the floor. With his absences coinciding with those of his main contenders, Mobley maintains a stranglehold on the number one spot.
