NBA Trades: 6 blockbuster Bradley Beal trades for the Wizards to rebuild – Dallas Mavericks

Since drafting Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks have been in earnest need of putting elite talent around him. Kristaps Porzingis was the first step, but bringing in another go-to scorer to compliment Doncic could make life easier for everyone.

Thomas Bryant going with Beal makes sense for the Wizards to bring in even more talent. He is also an expiring contract, meaning Dallas would get the first chance to look at him to see if he fits their future. The Mavericks would be sending back a restricted free agent of their own, and he would fit the Wizards well.

Jalen Brunson is a blossoming star and would be the ideal playmaker for the Wizards to build around. Moses Brown and Josh Green are young building blocks that could fit the depth going forward.

Brown was a fantastic rebounder in Oklahoma City last season. Green has struggled to get meaningful minutes but could use a change of scenery.

Tim Hardaway Jr. is the salary to make it all work and is another tradeable piece down the line. After shooting greater than 39 percent from distance in consecutive seasons he has dipped this season to 33.2 percent. This could be a function of Jason Kidd’s offense, making a move something that could work out best.
