NBA Trades: 6 blockbuster Bradley Beal trades for the Wizards to rebuild – Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have been primed for a consolidation trade for quite some time. While the fit of Beal next to Trae Young would be less than ideal defensively, the overall scoring output would be transcendent.

The Hawks have the young talent and sense of urgency to make something happen in earnest, making the following deal plausible.

While Onyeka Okongwu has shown enough flashes to be considered borderline untradable, bringing in an All-NBA player fits the bill. He is a generational defensive big that could be the anchor on that end for years to come in Washington. He is the ideal young player for any sort of trade package to be built around.

Cam Reddish has shown intermittent flashes this season of the kind of player that was drafted as highly he was a few seasons ago. He has topped 30 points twice in the last two weeks, showing off the go-to scoring ability fans have hoped for. Unfortunately, when the roster is at full strength there is a crunch for scoring wings.

Danilo Gallinari makes more than double what the two young prospects do and financially makes this trade possible. Even better, his contract is only partially guaranteed for next season, so the Wizards would have the flexibility to restructure their team how they see fit.
