NBA Trades: 6 blockbuster Bradley Beal trades for the Wizards to rebuild – Boston Celtics

This would be the dream for both teams. Jaylen Brown is the type of two-way wing teams salivate over. While his talents overlap with Jayson Tatum, that is not the issue with the Boston Celtics.

Something is amiss with the team as a whole, but if appeasing Tatum is the ultimate goal, they could do worse than bringing in his longtime friend.

Brown is the type of young player who is ready to be an All-Star already but is on the same timeline as the rest of the young players on the roster. He made his first All-Star appearance a season ago.

So far this season he is averaging 23.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Being placed into a setting where he can be the primary scoring wing could unlock the mountain of potential he has on that side of the ball. With the emergence of Avdija as a defender, the burden on that end of the floor would be even more evenly split for Brown.

Jabari Parker is involved solely to make the money work. Given his contract, there is a chance that he would immediately be waved upon completion of the deal.

This is one of the few deals that likely does not require draft compensation being exchanged because the Celtics end up with an All-NBA partner for Tatum, but as he is expiring, the Celtics would be giving up plenty.
