NBA Trades: 6 Jerami Grant trades to help the Detroit Pistons – Indiana Pacers

Going back to Indiana, the Pacers have been rumored to be looking to reshape their roster. Unfortunately, their owner has never been one to greenlight a full teardown.

Remaining competitive would likely be essential in any deal involving them. Cutting out the Blazers would give the Pistons a chance to add a slightly older player that would fit a current need, instead of taking a complete flier.

Caris LeVert and Myles Turner each have their merits for the Detroit Pistons. LeVert has shown potential as a secondary scorer with the ability to take over when needed to. He would compliment Cunningham perfectly on offense and would fit perfectly In the culture Troy Weaver has been implementing.

Turner’s fit is even more clear. He is one of the best shot blockers in the league and would pair nicely with Isaiah Stewart on the defensive end. He is also a competent floor spacer, shooting 38.1 percent on 4.8 long-range attempts this season.

He is looking for a bigger role, much like Grant was when he chose to come to the Pistons. Replicating that with Turner would be quite feasible and he would fit even better alongside the current talent. Picking either Oshae Brissett or Brad Wanamaker to round out the money gets the deal done.
