The Indiana Pacers are headed towards a rebuild, according to The Athletic’s Shama Charania. The franchise is reportedly receptive to trade talks involving Caris LeVert and either Domantas Sabonis or Myles Turner.

There are plenty of teams around the league that would love to add any of these three names to their rosters. LeVert’s scoring, Sabonis’ interior finishing, and Turner’s ability to protect the rim and space the floor could offer plenty to teams looking to improve their chances of winning the title.

But of the three players, Turner – who is reportedly keen to leave the Pacers – has the skillset that is perhaps the most intriguing for a contending team.  Particularly, the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors need to trade for Myles Turner

The Warriors have started the season superbly, and there are very few weaknesses on the roster. Steph Curry is playing some of the best basketball of his career, Jordan Poole has taken another leap, Draymond Green is an early Defensive Player of the Year candidate, and Andrew Wiggins’ improvements on defense have all contributed to the strides forward since last season.

All while, Klay Thompson continues to work his way back from injury with the hope of returning during the second half of the season. Golden State is one of the favorites to win the Championship already without making any alterations at all to the roster.

However, you can always get better, and the one position where the team is currently lacking is center.
