The Milwaukee Bucks might have a tough decision on their hands when the NBA trade deadline hits. A team that is coming off an NBA championship and always looking to improve will do everything they can to help their team win another title.

The Bucks might have some decisions to make at the deadline as second-year player Jordan Nwora could be a player that other teams are interested in.

Most teams who make trades at the deadline are either in rebuild mode or teams who have already started their rebuild. Milwaukee doesn’t have many young guys on their roster besides Jordan Nwora and Donte DiVincenzo. Due to this, the two of them could be the biggest trade pieces the Bucks have.

Now the question for Milwaukee is, do they trade Nwora who has shown throughout his short NBA career that he can be a legit three-point shooting option in a few years? Let’s take a look at why they should.

Why the Milwaukee Bucks should trade Jordan Nwora

Throughout his young career, Jordan Nwora has shown that he will have the ability to hit the open shot, but doesn’t play the best defense, and at times takes too many shots.

In a system that has Giannis Antetokounmpo, the last thing the Bucks want is someone who turns the ball over a bit too much and also takes some questionable shots.

Many of his early struggles can be attributed to him simply not getting much time to grow in the NBA due to not playing often. That’s the issue with him being in Milwaukee.

There isn’t going to be much room for growth if Nwora stays with the organization. He will almost never get minutes over guards like Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Grayson Allen, and others.

With the situation the Milwaukee Bucks are in, it would be best for the team, and his future, to move on so the former Louisville standout can develop elsewhere.

The Milwaukee Bucks could explore a Jordan Nwora trade with rebuilding teams

Milwaukee is in a win-now situation and it would be best to move him, but only for the right price. If a team like the Portland Trail Blazers comes and asks for him in a package involving Robert Covington, the deal must be done.

There’s no reason for them to keep Nwora because he isn’t going to contribute valuable minutes anytime soon. He also isn’t going to get the development that he needs to help his career.

Jordan Nwora is someone who could potentially be a good player in this league, but the Bucks don’t have the option of waiting. They also don’t have the option of giving him the minutes he needs.

It will be interesting to see what the Milwaukee Bucks do at the trade deadline because GM John Horst is always looking for ways to improve the roster.
