Week 7 NBA power rankings: 6. Utah Jazz (15-7)

Rank last week: 6th

Record this past week: 2-0

The Utah Jazz didn’t lose a game this past week, but despite that, they remain in the same spot as they were last week. This is not due to their poor play, but simply because those above them have been red hot.

Utah put up an incredible 137 points against a great Celtics defense a few days ago. They look to be finding their form and are looking like the Jazz team that was a number-one seed last season.

Week 7 NBA power rankings: 5. Brooklyn Nets (16-7)

Rank last week: 3rd

Record this past week: 2-1

Weirdly, the team with the best record in the Eastern Conference is not even the best team in the East in these power rankings. Regardless, the Nets are still a powerhouse.

However, a loss to the Bulls and close calls against the Timberwolves and Knicks sees them slide two spots. That just goes to show how close these rankings are.

Week 7 NBA power rankings: 4. Milwaukee Bucks (15-9)

Rank last week: 4th

Record this past week: 3-1

Again, this is another case of a team being great, but the teams above them being better. The Milwaukee Bucks only lost one game this past week, yet stay in the same spot in the rankings.

On top of that, they only lost because Giannis Antetokounmpo missed a couple of games. They are still undefeated when all three of their stars play.
