NBA: The 25 least deserving Hall of Famers of all-time: 20. Bob Dandridge

Stats: 18.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 3.4 apg

We cannot and will not deny that Bob Dandridge played a huge part in two separate championship winning teams. During his 1971 playoff run, Dandridge averaged 19.2 points and 9.6 rebounds for the Milwaukee Bucks. A few seasons later, he did his thing again, this time, for the Washington Bullets.

Dandridge would average 21.2 points and 6.5 boards on that 1978 championship squad. On both occasions, we highly doubt that either of those teams would’ve won it all if it weren’t for the productive Hall of Famer. However, that doesn’t make him one of the greatest players of all time.

The overall accolades of Dandrige give us plenty of reason to question his Hall of Fame legitimacy. By the time his career came to an end, he was named to only four All-Star teams and one All-NBA squad. He was also a one-time selection of the All-NBA Defensive team.

When we take a look at everything he accomplished, his resume is simply too painfully thin to be considered a bonafide Hall of Famer.
