NBA: The 25 least deserving Hall of Famers of all-time: 22. Chris Mullin

Stats: 18.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 3.5 apg

From the moment Chris Mullin stepped onto an NBA court, he was balling out. He dropped 14 points per game in year one and by the time he wrapped up his third season, he was a 20 point per game scorer.

During a five-year stretch from 89-93, Mullin averaged 25.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and shot 52.3% from the field. Outside of those five years, Mullins was solid, routinely averaging in the mid to high teens in terms of points per game but he was never a dominant player for a long stretch of time, he was merely very good.

When his career was set and done, Mullins was selected to just five All-Star Games and never had a top 5 finish in the MVP race. Also, to throw even more cold water on his Hall of Fame legitimacy, Mullins and his career point total of 17,911, ranks 82nd in league history.

Was Mullins a good player with a sweet jay? Without question. But a certified Hall of Famer? Absolutely not.
