NBA: The 25 least deserving Hall of Famers of all-time: 25. Chris Bosh

Stats: 19.2 ppg, 8.5 rpg

Seemingly, Chris Bosh built his Hall of Fame case after a few championship seasons with the Miami Heat.

In four years as the clear third wheel to LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, the Heat made four straight trips to the NBA Finals and took home back-to-back championships.

Bosh played a solid role but does anyone believe that the Heat would’ve been less successful during those Finals runs without him? His play on the biggest of stages was somewhat uninspiring. In 23 Finals games, Bosh averaged just 14.7 points and 7.8 rebounds.

Still, outside of his mediocre production with all of the chips on the line, Bosh had an excellent career. With 11 All-Star appearances and two rings, many players would love a career like that. But, we don’t believe he was a Hall of Famer. By the time Bosh hung up his shorts for good, he was named to only two All-NBA squads and never came close to being mentioned in the MVP discussion.

Also, before joining the Heat, Bosh was known as a player who racked up a ton of numbers but didn’t make his teams better.

Was Bosh a very good player? He sure was but was he a game-changing franchise cornerstone who left an indelible impact? Not really.
