NBA: The 25 least deserving Hall of Famers of all-time: 8. Frank Ramsey

Stats: 13.4 ppg, 5.5 rpg

For the vast majority of Frank Ramsey’s career, every season ended the same.

With nine years of experience, Ramsey pocketed seven NBA titles as a member of the Boston Celtics. But while he was showered in gold, his career consisted of little to nothing else. The former shooting guard was never selected to any All-Star Games, and he never experienced what life would be like as an All-NBA member.

At one point, it did appear as though Ramsey was going to transform into one of the best players in the league. During the Celtics playoff run in the 1958-59 season, Ramsey averaged 23.2 points per game. Ultimately, he never repeated those numbers either in the regular season or in the playoffs.

For the totality of his career, Ramsey averaged 13.4 points. The only reason he was inducted into the Hall is because of those seven rings.
