NBA: The 25 least deserving Hall of Famers of all-time: 13. Bill Bradley

Stats: 12.4 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 3.4 apg

We can’t emphasize this enough. Inconsequential players should not, we repeat, should not be in the Hall of Fame…for the most part.

Now sure, not every player that’s been inducted into the Hall was the league’s best player but for Bill Bradley, he was never considered anything more than a somewhat insignificant piece on a few championship New York Knick teams.

Allow us to rattle off the career averages of Bradley, along with his accolades. The former small forward hung up his kicks after averaging 12.4 points, 3.2 boards, and 3.4 assists. For his efforts, Bradley was awarded with one, yes only one, All-Star appearance. He was never selected to any All-NBA teams and was never even the second or even third-best player on those New York Knick championship teams.

When it came down to it, Bradley was a reliable third option. He could score it from the outside and played tough-nosed defense. Bradley did manage to score a career-high of 16.1 points per game in 1973, his lone All-Star campaign. But he shouldn’t be remembered as one of the all-time greats. Instead, he should be viewed as one of the better glue guys in NBA History. Nothing more and nothing less.
