NBA Mock Draft: 2022 NBA Draft Lottery Big Board – 9. Dyson Daniels

Dyson Daniels has been impressive so far in the G-League. In the first game of the season, he led the Ignite in scoring with 22 points to go along with six rebounds and three assists.

His three-point shot is not his strong suit, but he thrives at getting to the rim so far. He has also shown playmaking chops that should help him gel perfectly with Jaden Hardy as the season progresses.

NBA Mock Draft: 2022 NBA Draft Lottery Big Board – 10. Benedict Mathurin

Returning to school turned out to be the perfect call for Benedict Mathurin. He has shown an uptick in scoring and rebounding already, as well as solid defensive chops on the wing.

His three-point shot is not falling at the same scorching clip that it was as a freshman, but once the shot starts falling again, scouts will fall in love. As the 3&D wing continues to be a fixture in NBA playoff lineups, a player like Mathurin should be a hot commodity.

NBA Mock Draft: 2022 NBA Draft Lottery Big Board – 11. AJ Griffin

Figuring out where to rank AJ Griffin in the class is quite a challenge. He has all the talent in the world. Griffin can get above the rim, can bully defenders, and brings it on both sides of the court.

Unfortunately, he is perennially injured and that raises enough red flags to keep him from getting higher on this list than his talent portends. If he can show that he can stay healthy this season, his talent will rise him to the top.
