The NBA season is flying right along. NBA power rankings are drastically changing every week due to how close the standings are across the board.

For the first time in what feels like a long time, the Eastern Conference is outperforming the Western Conference. At least, it is in terms of its depth.

NBA Power Rankings Week 6: New faces in the top ten

The 11th seed in the East right now would be the 6th seed in the West. Meanwhile, the 11th seed in the West would fall down to the 14th seed in the East.

That being said, the top of the West is dominating the top of the East. Both of the top two teams in the West would be the number one seed in the East by far.

So, the Western Conference is pretty top-heavy, while the Eastern Conference is filled with talent through and through. Regardless, the NBA as a whole this season seems to have a ton of parity in it.

That’s what makes these NBA power rankings so tough to gauge. One week a team could be 10-7, and the next week they are below .500. The changes are so rapid.

Some new teams ended up jumping up into the top ten, while others fell on the other end of the spectrum and slid down into the bottom ten. There was a wide array of movements this week.

So, without further adieu, what are the NBA power rankings looking like after week six of NBA basketball? Where does your team fall? Are they too high or too low?
